Children love to bowl and the Wheeling Recreation Department in conjunction with Rose Bowl Lanes Inc., 89 Edgington Lane, Wheeling, is proud to have any child ages 5 to 16 learn with us. Instruction will be provided by Rose Bowl Lane Employees.
Together, we will sponsor an instructional "Youth Bowling League" every Thursday beginning June 17, 2021. From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., you will be learning the FUNdamental skills of bowling which will be an important part of this program. On July 21, we will have a bowling tournament for all participants with awards and a pizza party.
Instruction will be on the following dates and times:
Thursday, June 16 @ 10:00 a.m.
Thursday, June 23 @ 10:00 a.m.
Thursday June 30 @ 10:00 a.m.
Thursday, July 7 @ 10:00 a.m.
Thursday, July 14 @ 10 a.m.
Thursday, July 21. @ 10 a.m.
Cost for the six-week program will be $30 per participant and will include a t-shirt, instruction and games. Shoes and bowling balls will be available for each participant to use.
