Special Projects Information Form


Thanks for your interest in performing your project with City of Wheeling Parks. We encourage you to visit our parks and green spaces to generate a project idea to propose. Successful proposals identify an area of need to enhance our mission or are a creative and sustainable project that adds unique value to the organization. Please note that all projects are not necessarily a match to park needs and alternative concepts may need to be developed and proposed.

We receive more requests for projects than we can realistically place. We will do our best to explore with staff if the proposed project meets our needs and let you know the determination in a timely manner.

The following information is required in order to explore if a potential project exists:
  1. Full Contact information (name, phone, and email)
  2. Preferred location
  3. Preferred time frame of completion or installation
  4. Project proposal (Include all known details)
  5. Troop Number and Scout Master’s name and contact info (include in project description-if an eagle scout project)

Please allow 1-2 weeks to process your request with the Director of Parks and Recreation.
If your proposal looks beneficial to the City of Wheeling Parks, you will have an opportunity to meet with the director, Rochelle Barry, for an interview to discuss.
